4月5日星期六，是清明節，我和爸爸媽媽一大早就起床，連早餐都沒吃，就從橫瀝開車回老家掃墓。一回到老家，我們都把鞋換成拖鞋，因為去掃墓祖先的路是一條水泥路很臟，換完鞋我們就出發了，來到第一個地方時就看見有許多人在把草挖開，這里每年都會這樣的到處都是草，所以每次來這里都得挖草，挖完之后，我們就開始給祖先蘋果、包子……的食物，然后我們拜這位祖先的每一個家庭就輪流的燒鞭炮，有幾個家庭都燒大的鞭炮，所以他們最后一個燒，鞭炮一個接一個，很響，特別是大的鞭炮，燒完鞭炮后，爸爸就叫我去拜一下祖先。拜完之后，我們就去第二個地方拜另一位祖先。
第二個地方那里有許多個祖先，其中最里面的第二行其中一個就是我們的祖先，首先是燒些食物給祖先，然后燒一些拜錢給他，最后燒鞭炮，做完這些以后，我就上前去拜拜祖先，并雙手拿著水壺倒茶給祖先喝。拜完之后，我們就去第三個地方拜另外兩位祖先。
