First, respecting and understanding each other is the key to make a home sweet, especially living in a big family. Everyone in the family has his or her own opinion and has different way to deal with the matters, and it is impossible to make family members see eye to eye with each other. Therefore, when we are meeting different opinions, we need to give our respect and understanding to each other.
Second, communication is another important factor to make a sweet home. Communicating with family members is a good for us to know each other and strengthen the relationship. Thus, no matter where we are, keeping in contact with each other is definitely important.
Finally, humor can add more sweet to our home. Humor is a good way to adjust the atmosphere in a family and close the relationship between family members. Hence, if there is going to have a quarrel between family members, try to use your humor to solve it in advance.
In a word, to make a home sweet needs the effort of every family member.
The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage is a problem that requires an immediate solution.
People's attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For another, living underground for a long time will do harm to people's health. Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.
Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible solutions to the housing problem.
Last week, I saw an Interesting cartoon and I was attracted by the beautiful house. The house was in the top of the mountain. Every morning, the main character could see the whole landscape and village. It is such a beautiful house for me. In the future, I want to have a house like this, trees and flowers are around.
Our college is an ordinary institution of higher learning.
on our campus,there are no skyscrapers,no graceful and imposing buildings,and no strange houses.All the buildings are common,but they stand in special relationship to each other,making a nice learning atmosphere for us.The newest and perhaps largest building is the library.It stands in the middle of our campus.It is seven storeys high.With its bright,spacious reading rooms and all kinds of books,newspapers and magazines,it is the place where students like to go.The next largest building is the Chemistry Department.The rooms in it are filled with various apparatus.The buildings that the students and teachers live in are the apartment houses.
Before long,new buildings will be added to our campus and some old ones will be pulled down.I think that our campus will become more and more beautiful.Then more and more young men will come and learn in it.
In Tianjin,there are many buildings of bygone times.Some of them are imposing and have great artistic and historic value.However,these buildings do mot fit in well with each other,because most of them were built by foreigners in different times.The traffic in the city is not very convenient.The street are usually narrow and twisted.If the government wanted to have them widened,a large number of buildings would have to be pulled down.Some buildings are too old and are nothing more than cottages,and in place of them,some new high buildings have been set up.However,the new ones are still few and in many places they seem quite out of place.
Yet those Western-style buildings give Tianjin a different characteristic from other cities and those new ones lend the city fresh vitality which will spread rapidly with the reform going on.
